The school is K-12 and provides education for students with emotional and behavioral challenges, while there is no specific mission for the program they do pride themselves on providing a rigorous academic experience for their students.
It has four floors:
- Lower K-2,
- Middle One 3-5,
- Middle Two 6-7,
- Upper One 8-9,
- Upper Two 10-12.
There are currently 120 students enrolled at the school. Each floor has a management team consisting of a Milieu Coordinator, Educational Coordinator, and Clinical Coordinator. All classrooms that have three adults (headteacher, assistant teacher, and milieu counselor) with a maximum of 10 students in each classroom. At the outset, it appears that the agency is doing well. The enrollments are up and they have recently opened a new floor. However, there has been a lot of discontent within the frontline workers. For years there was little turnover but within the past four years, there have been significant changes with milieu and educational staff and middle leadership.
